Responsible Tech Hub archive

This archive includes all the content formerly available at callmemapo’s Responsible Tech Hub.

It includes free resources to empower you to become a leader in responsible tech below! But first…

Why responsible tech?

Responsible tech is not just about risk reduction. It’s about building a foundation of trust that gives you the freedom to innovate with confidence:

  • Drive innovation decisions based on opportunity, not fear.

  • Open the door to customer loyalty and growth.

  • Attract and retain top talent.

To be a leader in responsible tech, you need to build the right…

1/ Mindset

Specifically, a value-driven mindset. ‘Value’ mustn’t be limited to financial value. Value must capture reputation, longevity, employee commitment, and other intangibles — all of which have a way of showing up on the balance sheet. Critically: A value-driven mindset prevents fear from stifling innovation and (responsible) risk-taking.

2/ Solutions

More precisely, an integrated solution space. This includes solutions for technical and societal challenges — and everything in between. It also includes solutions that protect the enterprise (think compliance, risk frameworks), and solutions that serve product teams and cross-functional partners (think products, tools).

3/ Culture

This should really say ‘Culture and Operations’. Culture is not fluffy. It’s lived and experienced — which is why how you operate shapes, makes, or breaks a culture. Responsible tech calls for operations that reinforce a culture of responsibility and embed trustworthiness into everything you do and every decision you make.
