Prioritize what’s most important

Last week, I attended the Women’s Power Summit, hosted by the Center for Women in Law in Austin, TX.

I summarized a set of ‘lucky 13’ pieces of advice from the Summit here. The 'lucky 13' list covers advice on empowering yourself, leading people, leading change, and investing in yourself.

I recommend reviewing the complete list because it represents the collective wisdom of incredibly accomplished women, who have been through a lot to get to where they are and worked really hard to pave the way for others.

But I’d like to highlight #11 on the list: “Your time on this earth is limited, and that’s a fact of life. So prioritize what’s most important.”

I put this piece of advice to action at the Summit. During one of the most incredible professional events I’ve ever attended, I decided to prioritize my mental health and family over work. Check out my story in the short video.

When have you prioritized your mental health?
